The Unforgivable Debt Part 2

I stood trembling at the altar, staring up at the arrogant, much older billionaire my cruel mother had sold me to. He looked at me not with love, but with the cold, calculating eyes of a man who had just purchased a brand new piece of expensive property. The priest cleared his throat and began the traditional ceremony, his voice echoing loudly across the massive, sunlit wedding hall. My heart pounded wildly against my ribs. I felt completely trapped, entirely unable to speak or run away from my terrible fate. My mother watched from the very front row, a sinister, greedy smile permanently fixed on her perfectly manicured face as she waited for her massive financial payout.
“Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?” the priest asked, his words sealing my miserable destiny.
Before the corrupt billionaire could even open his mouth to answer, the heavy wooden doors of the beautiful wedding hall crashed open. A team of federal agents in dark windbreakers rushed down the center aisle, their badges flashing brightly under the expensive crystal chandeliers. The wealthy guests gasped in absolute horror, jumping out of their velvet chairs as the chaotic scene unfolded.
“Stop the wedding immediately!” the lead agent shouted, holding up a thick stack of official legal documents. He pointed directly at my mother and the groom. “You are both under arrest for extortion, financial fraud, and attempting a highly illegal coerced marriage scheme.”
My mother’s arrogant smile instantly vanished. The color completely drained from her face as she instinctively tried to run toward the side exit, but two heavily armed female agents quickly tackled her to the polished marble floor. They aggressively locked heavy metal handcuffs around her wrists, entirely ruining her expensive navy blue silk dress in the process. The wealthy groom tried to shout pathetic legal threats, but he was swiftly apprehended and violently shoved into the back of a waiting police cruiser parked right outside the main glass doors.
I collapsed onto my knees in my heavy white wedding gown, crying overwhelming tears of profound relief. The terrible nightmare was finally over. The lead federal agent gently helped me stand up, wrapping a warm jacket over my shaking shoulders. He revealed that my late father had actually left a massive, hidden trust fund entirely in my name. My greedy mother had intentionally hidden this incredible wealth from me for eighteen miserable years, planning to forcibly marry me off to her corrupt business partner so they could illegally steal all the money together.
The judge swiftly sentenced my ruthless mother and her wealthy accomplice to twenty miserable years in a dark federal prison without any possibility of early parole. I officially claimed my rightful, massive inheritance and bought a beautiful, peaceful beach house far away from the city. I never had to wear a heavy dress or answer to her cruel, unforgiving demands ever again. I was finally completely free to live my own beautiful life in absolute peace.
